Around 25,000 visitors are expected over the three day festival, many of them from out of town, and many of them experiencing the delights of 100% plant based food for the first time too – VegfestUK Bristol is the world’s biggest veggie event and there are no animal products permitted at the event.

Admission to the evening events Friday and Saturday is by advance tickets only. Saturday daytime and all day Sunday is only £2 pay on the gate.

Wave 105 Live! is a live music event produced and hosted by the popular regional radio station and is back for the third year running, with the previous two shows selling out.

Artists already confirmed include Travis, Paloma Faith, Loveable Rogues, Union J and Stooshe!

Shoppers are in for a treat this weekend when they visit the Sovereign Shopping Centre! Peppa Pig is popping into the Boscombe-based Centre on Saturday at intervals between 12pm and 4pm, to meet her fans.

Peppa Pig will be making personal appearances, on the bandstand, at this FREE event and there will be the opportunity for little ones to have their photo taken with the loveable character. Please bear in the mind, the event is on a first come first served basis and limited spaces are available.

Centre Manager Ray McGlynn said: “We are really looking forward to Peppa Pig visiting the Centre. She is a very popular character, and we hope lots of children will come and meet her.”

As the largest rugby, netball and music festival in the world, it is an action-packed weekend of entertainment and sport. With over 300 rugby, netball and dodgeball teams, Diamond Sporting Group have truly created a unique event that has made a significant impact on the world rugby scene.
